I told you I am a computer geek! Below, I've put together information about programs that will give you more privacy, security & safety. These programs eliminate your history discretely. Some of them are free to use and some will cost you a few bucks. Either way, you will be free to roam around the internet without having your web history compromised!
I use all of these products, they all keep my computer safe and so I thought that you may appreiciate knowing about them.
If you need privacy but you are using Internet Explorer (IE)

IE is a Microsoft product and is very prone to attacks from Viruses, Trojans and Spyware! Also, it 's too easy to track your web browsing history from it.

I have been hit with hijacker viruses and they can be a bitch to get rid of! A hijacker is more prone to IE than firefox but it can happen. Spyware hits us all. They slow down your PC and sends your private information back to the companies that plant it. Most of it is harmless statistics they are looking for, but if you are anything like me, then you want nobody knowing anything about what you do.
I don't pay for anti-virus software, I don't have to and neither do you.
There are some excellent software programs that give you better protection and support than most of the fee for use programs.
The products that I am recommending are products that I use and are free of charge to use if you are putting them on a personal computer for personal use. If you are putting them on a business computer then they want you to pay for the service.
